I found a 01 9-3 Convertible with 42k on it. It will be my daily driver, and I don't really put a lot of miles maybe 20 a day. They are asking 6k, which seems like a really good price after comparing it to a lot of others I have seen of the same vintage.

converting from a 4 door sedan to a 2 door convertible takes a lot of engineering though. who knows how many chassis changes were made. i'm still thinking very much of the ng900 when the convertible came out in '95 (second year for the ng) and had tons of top issues that weren't resolved until the '96 model came along with a different type of

As the 9-5 progressed, it got more reliable but GMs cost cutting got more evident. Most people agree that the '04/'05 year is the best for the 9-5 aero. anything newer is ugly and the interior is cheap, and anything older has sludge issues. Also, go over to the 9-5 forums, and do some reading.
