It's amazing, it takes off all of my waterproof mascara and make up and definitely wouldn't be without it. I did try the Alpha H Triple cleanser but it stung my eyes but I still used it to get off my face make-up but do prefer the balancing cleanser. I remember listening to the alpha h presenter and she said sometimes you need to go back to basics and use one that restored the ph levels. I've used some very expensive beauty products but they didn't repair the damage or sort out the problems. This has the large dry area near my eye has gone and is now normal soft skin. I have used several other alpha h products and been impressed by the results. Had tried the Dermalogica kit recommended for young skins, and found it didn't make much difference. One of the presentations I was watching mentioned that this helps balance out hormonal skin, and boy were they right! Her skin is clear and spot free, and all her friends have been asking what she uses. I have bought this kit, which is a useful size for travelling, and the larger 500ml version for staying put in the bathroom. My 12 year old son will be using it shortly. I have had bad skin for as long as I remember due to poly cystic ovaries and nothing has helped. Tried this for the last couple of weeks and what a difference. I used to faithfully do the pre-Cleanse, Cleanse, Tone and Eye Make up removal routine - NOT any longer!! This fabulous Cleanser does ALL these tasks for me - just by itself!! This Cleanser is a fabulous consistency. It's like putting fresh cream on your face, and just spreads and slips over all areas of the face with such ease. Almost a liquid creamy mousse feel on the skin. You can do a good facial wash with it - even over the eye area, massaging gently over the eyelids, to remove any and all eye make up, even waterproof mascara and long-stay eye-shadows. If you are doing your eye cleanse at the same time as your facial cleanse, you may prefer, as i do, to do a quick second wash to remove ALL traces of any remaining make up product on the skin. After massaging the cleanser over my eyes, using a Micro Cleansing OR Muslin cloth, I can gently just "wipe" away all traces of my eye make up. This Cleanser does not irritate my SUPER-sensitive eyes in any way whatsoever. I also use this Balancing Cleanser with my Clarisonic Skin Cleansing device - and the slip of the Cleanser is ideal for this type of cleansing. No "drag" on the skin whatsoever - letting the Clarisonic do its deep cleanse and skin polishing job effortlessly. Soooo....for the cost of these two good-sized tubes of cleanser, I have negated the need to use separate toner AND separate eye make up remover products - saving money but getting superb results!! This is great for taking on holiday - instead of taking 3 bottles (Cleanser, Toner, Eye Make up remover), I now just take this.....how wonderful!! AND - it does the job better than the 3 separate items into the bargain!! I must have EVERY cleanser out there - top end, to mid-range cleansers - and this is THE best one I have ever used. I am toying with trying the Alpha H Micro Cleanser, to see just how good that is.....mind you - how that can improve on THIS PERFECT Cleanser, i cannot imagine. I'm no spring chicken. My skin is super sensitive, but feels soft as silk and really hydrated after cleansing. I also use Alpha H Liquid Gold - and the combination of using these two products is having an amazing and wonderful effect on my now ageing skin. My skin is in good condition anyway, as I have looked after it well since my teens - but it has not looked as good as it does now for a good while. I am sticking to Alpha H products now, after swapping about across the different ranges SO much over the months and years. I think I have finally found my Holy Grail in skin care, from Alpha H. Until now! Absolutely love this cleanser and won't use anything else. Leaves the skin clean, smooth and not at all tight. Removes all make up and never stings the eyes.
